Get ready for the the family-friendly Street Fest that is going fall-tastic with a pumpkin-picking patch, harvest-inspired photo stations, and a beer garden. Booths from more than 100 artisans and Cranford businesses will line the streets of downtown. Plus, there will be loads of entertainment for the kids. Live music will be playing in the gazebo parking lot on North Union Ave and Alden Street, which will be filled with fabulous food trucks .
From 3 to 7 p.m., Union township will host the Haunted Halloween Food Truck Fest at Rabkin Park (1 Swanstrom Pl. E). The event will feature food trucks, carnival rides, games, bouncy houses, and a costume contest, with winners announced at 5 p.m

We are excited to announce our upcoming Annual Winter Wonderland Weekend & Holiday Village in front of Town Hall on Friday, December 4th from 5pm to 9pm and on Saturday, December 5th from 2pm to 9pm!
The day's events will begin with the traditional ceremony at 10:00 in Memorial Plaza to honor our fallen heroes. The parade will then process down East Broad Street and turn left on North Euclid, ending in Mindowaskin Park. The Westfield Police Department will then escort all participating veterans to Fairview Cemetery for the annual solemn service held there. Following the parade, all members of the public are invited for a gathering in Mindowaskin Park, and the American Legion will also host its annual barbecue with music and entertainment.
Cranford Street Fest is back May 17 from 11AM–5PM and it’s all the things you love about our small town, no big chain businesses. Find us at North Union & Alden for a day filled with 125+ hand-makers, Cranford service providers, and community groups.
Enjoy drinks, food for purchase from Food Trucks onsite, adult tailgate games and other entertainment.
All proceeds benefit the rebuilding of American Legion Post 3 which includes 22 units of housing for homeless veterans.

As we approach a momentous milestone in our community’s history, we are excited to announce the 150th Anniversary of the Westfield Fire Department, established in 1875. This significant anniversary not only marks a century and a half of dedicated service and commitment to the safety and well-being of our beloved town but also provides an opportunity to celebrate the legacy and spirit of the Westfield Fire Department.
To commemorate this historic event, we are planning a grand 150th Anniversary Celebration in June of 2025. The celebration will kick off with a parade through downtown Westfield, showcasing our fire trucks, vintage apparatus, and community groups. The parade will conclude at the Westfield Armory on Rahway Avenue, where a day full of fun and festivities awaits. Attendees can look forward to games, food, drinks, and raffles, creating an enjoyable and memorable experience for all.

These players hail from a variety of schools and regions, showcasing the diverse football culture of the Garden State. Each of them has proven themselves on the field, and now they will face off in an event that will be talked about for years to come.
Among them are some of the top athletes New Jersey has to offer, all of whom have demonstrated the qualities of leadership, resilience, and sportsmanship. The Nerds, New Jersey based rock and roll cover band, are set to headline the third annual 'Rock the Foundation' fundraiser for The Foundation of Sustainable Veteran Housing (FSVH) and the Westfield American Legion Housing Project.
This benefit concert promises to be a night of exceptional entertainment and community support, featuring special guest Better Late and opening act Kobi Reese, ensuring a lineup of outstanding live music. The fundraiser aims to raise $100,000, with all proceeds dedicated to rebuilding the Legion Hall and creating 22 housing units for homeless and at-risk veterans.
Tickets from September 7, 2024 will be honored on the new date of May 3, 2025.

Join the Westfield Police Department on Saturday, April 12th for the Annual Easter Egg Hunt, featuring the Westfield Fire Department, Volunteer Rescue Squad, Recreation Department, and Department of Public Works. The fun will include activities, a DJ, food, balloons, face painting, and of course the Easter Bunny. Bring your baskets!
Parade Day activities begin with a 9:00am Thornstick Mass at Immaculate Heart of Mary & St. Patrick followed by our Grandstand Program at Noon in Union Center.
